Support for Families with Children with Disabilities

Every two weeks, on Mondays, we visit around 20 families in Jinja who have a child with an intellectual, physical, or multiple disability. Many of these families face significant challenges in daily life and often feel left alone.

During our visits, we intentionally take time: we play with the children, listen to the families, pray together, and give them attention and encouragement. Additionally, we bring posho—an essential staple food made from maize flour—to support the families in a practical way.

Our desire is that every child and every family feels: You are valuable, you are not alone, and you are loved by God. Through small, regular acts of love, we want to bring hope and make Jesus visible in our actions.
